July 20 Wellesley Book Club The next meeting of the Wellesley Book Club will be at the home of Emily Cato '68 in Raleigh.

The book we will discuss is Dreams from My Father, by Barack Obama.

May 16 Cokie Roberts '64 in Raleigh Cokie Roberts '64 will be coming to Raleigh to talk about her new book, Ladies of Liberty. For more info, click here.

Living Life with Intention, Purpose and Presence Rebecca Merrill (’85) will lead a highly interactive and intimate conversation on the subject of creating a life redolent with purpose, meaning and positive intention, in every moment. Through the use of questions and a creative exercise, she will help participants understand what matters most to them and how to make their lives a reflection of that truth.

This workshop will be held in the Merrill Leadership Center, a beautifully renovated 100 year old building located in the heart of Durham near the American Tobacco Campus. Wine Tasting with Smith College Club "What Makes Good Wine? The Connection Between Wine and Geology," by Larry Meinert Ph.D., Professor of Geology, Smith College.

Oct 2007 Wellesley Book Club Faye Sinclair hostessed at her home. Alums discussed another book by Willa Cather, My Antonia.
Aug 2007 Celebration of Leadership Party The Wellesley Club held a party to celebrate the leadership of outgoing Co-Presidents Betsy Rainoff '57 and Carol Sclove '68.
Apr 2007 Carnivore Preservation Trust Betsy Rainoff ’57 booked a tour at the Carnivore Preservation Trust in Pittsboro. They had a lovely picnic area, where alumnae had lunch together beforehand.
Mar 2007 North Carolina Museum of Art Ann Kurtz '42 hostessed a local luncheon at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
Sep 2006 Wellesley Lunch Wellesley alumnae met for lunch at the Carolina Café in Chapel Hill.
