Sep 21	NC Center for Women in Public Service	We invite you to join us for a presentation from the North Carolina Center for Women in Public Service. The event is co-sponsored with Smith College and takes place on Sept. 21, 3-5 p.m. NCCWPS is the first non-partisan, statewide organization to address the need for women-specific recruitment, training, and mentoring to increase the number of women in appointed and elected office in North Carolina. Our featured speaker will be Dana Jennings, who has served as the CEO of the Center since January 2008. We have invited Meredith, Peace, and Bennett College alums, as well as all the Seven Sister Alums. Cost is $15 to cover refreshments and room cost.
